Chcą włączyć mieszkańców do tworzenia kultury
Zwiększyć udział mieszkańców w tworzeniu imprez kulturalnych, a przez to budować wspólnotę – to jeden z wniosków wczorajszej debaty o stanie kultury w Kościerzynie.
– Choć okazało się, że wciąż ta kultura sprowadzana jest głównie do folkloru – mówił profesor Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego Arkadiusz Modrzejewski.
Wzięło w niej udział około stu osób, w tym Kościerzacy, naukowcy, samorządowcy i społecznicy. Rozmawiano o działalności grup artystycznych, a przede wszystkim o kondycji Kościerskiego Domu Kultury. Jak podkreślał moderator panelu dyskusyjnego Tomasz Stroynowski – kulturę przede wszystkim tworzą mieszkańcy. Postulat włączenia mieszkańców do obchodów święta miasta trafi do władz samorządowych – mówiła szefowa Kaszubskiego Zespołu Folklorystycznego „Kościerzyna” Anna Ziomkowska. Uczestnicy debaty podkreślali też znaczenie kultury kaszubskiej w mieście. Organizatorami spotkania byli Kaszubski Instytut Rozwoju, Instytut Badań nad Polityką Europejską i stowarzyszenie Kościerska Marka. Kolejna debata ma się odbyć w czerwcu.
