Chcą przenieść Koszykarską Szkołę Mistrzostwa Sportowego do Łodzi
Polski Związek Koszykówki chce przenieść Koszykarską Szkołę Mistrzostwa Sportowego z Władysławowa do Łodzi. Jako powód wskazuje nieefektywne szkolenie i wynik ekonomiczny. Zaprotestowali rodzice zawodników i sami zawodnicy, którzy – znaleźli wsparcie ze strony finansującego placówkę Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki.
W Koszykarskiej Szkole Mistrzostwa Sportowego w Ośrodku Przygotowań Olimpijskich „Cetniewo” we Władysławowie, która działa od 2010 roku, uczy się na poziomie liceum i trenuje 19 koszykarzy, którzy mogą w przyszłości stanowić i sile reprezentacji Polski. Między innymi są to tacy zawodnicy jak Przemysław Karnowski, czy Bartosz Majewski. Trenujący i uczący się w Cetniewie koszykarze pochodzą z różnych stron Polski: Bochni, Elbląga, czy Warszawy. Chwalą sobie klimat i warunki „Cetniewa”. Trwają rozmowy na temat przyszłości szkoły. Niebawem dojdzie do kolejnego spotkania Ministerstwa Sportu z działaczami PZKosz. Ma ono definitywnie wyjaśnić sprawę lokalizacji Koszykarskiej Szkoły Mistrzostwa Sportowego.
