Centrum Luzina nominowane w prestiżowym konkursie
Park w centrum Luzina ma szansę na tytuł najlepiej zagospodarowanej przestrzeni publicznej w Polsce. Nominację złożył gdański oddział Zarządu Urbanistów Polskich.
– To dla nas miła niespodzianka – mówi wójt gminy Luzino, Jarosław Wejer.
To jedenasta edycja konkursu, który ma m.in. propagować rozwiązania tworzące nową jakość przestrzeni publicznej. Park w centrum Luzina to jedna z najgłośniejszych inwestycji gminy z 2015 roku. Na nieużytkach powstało miejsce do wypoczynku ze ścieżkami, ławeczkami i stawem. To był początek zmian, bo w planach jest tam m.in. budowa nowej siedziby urzędu gminy. Wśród nominowanych z do tytułu najlepiej zagospodarowanej przestrzeni publicznej w Polsce 2016 oprócz Luzina znalazły się też m.in. Gdańsk, Czarna Dąbrówka, Sopot i Tczew. Rozstrzygnięcie konkursu odbędzie się w październiku na Kongresie Związku Miast Polskich w Krakowie.
