Centrum Integracji Społecznej powstało w Wejherowie
Ma pomagać osobom zagrożonym ubóstwem lub wykluczeniem społecznym, pozostającym bez pracy, bezrobotnym lub biernym zawodowo –wszystkim, którzy bez pomocy zewnętrznej mają najmniejsze szanse na poradzenie sobie ze swoimi problemami.
Pomoc obejmuje doradztwo psychologiczne i zawodowe, warsztaty, kursy zawodowe, staże u pracodawców i pośrednictwo pracy. – Będziemy wspierać również rodziny uczestników tego projektu – zapowiada Arkadiusz Gawrych, prezes Pozytywnych Inicjatyw i Lokalnej Grupy Działania, której jednostkami organizacyjnymi są nowy CIS w Wejherowie oraz siostrzany CIS działający od kilku lat Pucku. Partnerami wejherowskiego Centrum Integracji Społecznej są tamtejszy Powiatowy Urząd Pracy i Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej. Placówka mieści się w centrum miasta, przy ulicy Puckiej 11.
