By przeszłość służyła przyszłości – w Gdyni odsłonięto tablicę upamiętniającą nadanie modernistycznemu śródmieściu statusu Pomnika Historii.
Wstęgę przeciął prezydent Bronisław Komorowski, który wizytuje od wczoraj Kaszuby – odwiedził wcześniej muzeum w Będominie, spotkał się z jedną z wielodzietnych rodzin w Sierakowicach. Odsłonięta dziś w Gdyni tablica ma przypominać, że Gdynia znalazła się w elitarnym gronie 60 zabytków o statusie Pomnika Historii. Na ceremonii był Marcin Szczepański.
