Burmistrz Kościerzyny otrzymał absolutorium
Po długich sporach i dyskusji burmistrz Kościerzyny otrzymał absolutorium za wykonanie ubiegłorocznego budżetu. Za przyjęciem uchwały głosowało 13. radnych, dwóch było przeciwnych, a czterech nie wzięło udziału w głosowaniu.
Przyczyną sporu była opinia komisji rewizyjnej rady miasta, która negatywnie oceniła wykonanie budżetu, mimo że pozytywnie zaopiniowała ją Regionalna Izba Obrachunkowa w Gdańsku. Radni spierali się o kwestie proceduralne i analizowali zarzuty komisji rewizyjnej. Po trwającej cztery godziny dyskusji burmistrz Michał Majewski większością głosów otrzymał absolutorium. Mówiła radna Karina Młodzianowska, która głosowała za nieprzyjęciem sprawozdania finansowego za ubiegły rok. Spór na kościerskiej sesji dotyczył również treści uchwały absolutoryjnej. Mimo że komisja rewizyjna wnioskowała o nieudzielenie absolutorium burmistrzowi, przewodnicząca rady pod głosowanie poddała przeciwny wniosek.
