Budowa elektrowni jądrowej nie stoi w miejscu – zapewniali mieszkańców powiatu wejherowskiego eksperci z ministerstwa energii i PGE EJ1, spółki odpowiedzialnej za budowę atomówki na Kaszubach. Na konferencję do Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 2 w Wejherowie zaprosiło ich stowarzyszenie „Obywatelski Ruch na Rzecz Energetyki Jądrowej”.
– Nie stoimy w miejscu – zapewniał kierownik projektu ds. bezpieczeństwa PGE EJ1 Władysław Kiełbasa.
Na spotkaniu poruszono kilka tematów m. in. polski program energetyki jądrowej oraz jego znaczenie dla polityki samorządu województwa pomorskiego. Aula wejherowskiego “elektryka” była zapełniona słuchaczami, którzy chcieli rozwiać swoje wątpliwości. Padły też pytania – głównie o zagrożenia związane z energetyką jądrową oraz o aktualny stan prac nad budową elektrowni atomowej na Kaszubach.
Według ostatniej zapowiedzi ministra energii Krzysztofa Tchórzewskiego budowa elektrowni atomowej na Pomorzu ma ruszyć w 2020 roku.
