Borussia Dortmund zwyciężyła w turnieju Euronadzieje rozgrywanym w Gdańsku – po drodze do finału pokonała między innymi Lechię Gdańsk czy Professional Luzino. I choć to tylko rywalizacja młodzików to emocje na stadionie przy Traugutta stały na europejskim poziomie. Na zaproszenie organizatora, Klubu Sportowego Oliva, odpowiedziały takie drużyny jak Sduszor Kaliningrad czy IF Bromma-Pojkarna. W międzynarodowym gronie 12 drużyn nie najlepiej wypadły zespoły z Kaszub. Lechia Gdańsk uplasowała się na pozycji 9, zespół z Luzina zajął miejsce ostatnie. Rocznik 2002 ma być nadzieją turnieju euro 2020 – to wtedy walczący przez weekend w Gdańsku młodzi piłkarze osiągną pełnoletniość. My mamy oczywiście nadzieję na kaszubską gwiazdę futbolu.
