BORCZ. Wieża wiertnicza znika z panoramy gminy
Wieża wiertnicza już niedługo zniknie z panoramy Borcza w gminie Somonino. Dobiegają końca prace wiertnicze w poszukiwaniu złóż gazu łupkowego. Wiertła pracują już pod prawie dwóch miesięcy, są już na głębokości ponad 3 i pół kilometra – podczas gdy planowana głębokość odwiertu do 3 tysiące osiemset metrów. – Pobrane materiały zostaną poddane analizie i dopiero po uzyskaniu wyników będzie można decydować czy Borcz będzie brany pod uwagę jako potencjalny punkt eksploatacyjny – wyjaśnia Przemysław Krogulec z oddziału geologii i eksploatacji Polskiego Górnictwa Naftowego i Gazownictwa. Prace idą zgodnie z planem i zakończą się na początku września. Odwiert w Borczu jest drugim po Klukowej Hucie wykonywanym w powiecie kartuskim. PGNiG przymierza się też do kolejnego odwiertu w Lubocinie w gminie Krokowa. Rozpoczęcie prac to kwestia kilku tygodni. Przypomnę, że zarówno mieszkańcy tych miejscowości jak i wszyscy zainteresowani tematem mogą wyrazić swoją opinię na temat poszukiwania i wydobycia gazu z łupków na Kaszubach – wypełniając ankietę zamieszczoną na stronie razemolupkach.pl.
