Bieliki w Wejherowie na razie można oglądać przez internet
Bieliki w Wejherowie już są, na razie można je oglądać przez internet. Na spacerze w parku będzie je można oglądać w przyszłym tygodniu – informują władze miasta.
W wolierach w miejskim parku zamieszkały dwa bieliki – samiec i samica. Oba ptaki przekazano z ośrodków rehabilitacji dzikich zwierząt. Bieliki znajdują się w niewoli od dłuższego czasu, a ich powrót do natury uniemożliwiają dysfunkcje wykluczające sprawne polowanie. Nadal są jednak bardzo cenne. Gatunek w Polsce liczy około 700. par lęgowych i pozostaje pod ścisłą ochroną.
Bieliki adoptują się do nowych warunków. W przyszłym tygodniu mają zostać zdjęte siatki rozwieszone na wolierach, dzięki czemu będzie je można oglądać z bliska – co w naturalnym środowisku jest prawie niemożliwe.
Ptaku już można obserwować za pośrednictwem internetowej strony www.wejherowo.pl – w pasku Kamery Online należy wybrać tytuł „Bieliki w parku”. Od końca sierpnia w wolierach mają zamieszkać także żurawie, które do Wejherowa przyjadą z ZOO w Kaliningradzie.
