Biblioteka PAN prezentuje najnowsze dzieła z kolekcji
Modlitewnik Marii Leszczyńskiej z 1728 r., XVIII wieczna księga z mapą Gdańska, czy starodruk opisujący anatomię bobra. To tylko niewielki fragment wystawy „Nowe nabytki zbiorów specjalnych”, która została zorganizowana przez Bibliotekę Polskiej Akademii Nauk w Gdańsku.
PAN co roku prezentuje dzieła, które udało się dodać do i tak bogatej kolekcji. W jaki sposób biblioteka powiększa swoje zasoby wyjaśnia Marta Pawlik-Flisikowska z Pracowni Fotografii. Ekspozycja przedstawia niezwykle różnorodny zbiór. Można podziwiać między innymi stare fotografie, numizmaty, księgi, ale także historyczne mapy i przedmioty codziennego użytku z zamierzchłych czasach. Warto skorzystać z okazji i odwiedzić wystawę, która będzie otwarta do 18 marca, w gmachu głównym Biblioteki PAN przy ul. Wałowej.
