Bezpłatnie pojedziemy latem autostradą A1 – jeśli będą korki.
To powtórzenie rozwiązania z ubiegłego roku, wprowadzonego po tym jak w okolicach poboru opłat tworzyły się wielokilometrowe kolejki. Rząd zdecydował o zwolnieniu z opłat kierowców, podróżujących w weekendy podczas wakacji autostradą na odcinku Gdańsk – Toruń. Bramki będą podnoszone jeśli natężenie ruchu będzie prowadziło do korków – poinformowała premier Ewa Kopacz po posiedzeniu Rady Ministrów. Zwolnienie z opłat ma obowiązywać od najbliższego weekendu do końca sierpnia. Bezpłatne przejazdy będą możliwe od piątku od godziny 16:00, w sobotę i niedzielę w godzinach od 7:00 do 22:30. Podczas przedłużonego weekendu w sierpniu opłaty mają być zniesione między 13 a 16 sierpnia.
Rada Ministrów zdecydowała też o przekazaniu 50 mln zł z ogólnej rezerwy budżetowej Krajowemu Funduszowi Drogowemu – na pokrycie ubytków związanych z odstąpieniem od pobierania opłat za przejazd autostradą. Zapowiedziano też prace nad wprowadzeniem podobnych rozwiązań na autostradach w zarządzie państwowym oraz rozmowy z koncesjonariuszami prywatnymi.
