Bezpłatne szczepionki przeciwko pneumokokom
Seniorzy z 11 powiatów mogą się bezpłatnie szczepić przeciwko pneumokokom. Zarząd Województwa Pomorskiego rozstrzygnął kolejny konkurs w tej sprawie. Szczepienia są częścią Regionalnego Programu Polityki Zdrowotnej.
Objęte są nim osoby powyżej 65 roku życia, które wcześniej nie szczepiły się przeciw pneumokokom oraz znajdują się w grupie ryzyka. Dotyczy to głównie osób z przewlekłymi chorobami dolnych dróg oddechowych. Jeśli zgłosi się za mała liczba tych pacjentów, szczepieniem zostaną objęte osoby z innymi schorzeniami przewlekłymi jak m. in.: choroby serca, cukrzyca, przewlekła choroba wątroby, nerek czy choroba nowotworowa. Zaszczepić się można w wybranych przychodniach, w tym w Redzie, Gdyni, Kartuzach, Kościerzynie oraz kilku miejscowościach powiatu bytowskiego.
