Bezpłatna komunikacja dla młodych w Rumi, Gdyni i Sopocie
Dzieci i ucząca się młodzież w Rumi, Gdyni i Sopocie ma bezpłatnie korzystać z komunikacji miejskiej. Taki wspólny pomysł mają szefowie samorządów w tych miastach. Podjęli decyzję o skierowaniu uchwał w tej sprawie do Rad Miast. „Przywilej ma dotyczyć wszystkich rodzajów autobusów i trolejbusów. Skorzystają z niego uczniowie szkół, bez względu na ich lokalizację: od zerówki do końca nauki w szkole średniej. Zwolniona z opłat ma być także młodzież niepełnosprawna, korzystająca z dowozów minibusami. Jedyny warunek to zameldowanie na terenie miasta, którego ulga dotyczy” – czytamy w informacji przesłanej przez zespół prasowy Miasta Gdynia. Rumski samorząd poinformował natomiast, że szczegóły projektu mają być przedstawione najpóźniej na kwietniowej sesji rady miejskiej. Jeśli Rady Miast Gdyni, Sopotu i Rumi przychylą się do propozycji swoich prezydentów i burmistrza to bezpłatne przejazdy miałyby obowiązywać od 01 czerwca. Mają być prezentem na Dzień Dziecka szczególnie dla rodziców, którzy poczują ulgę w portfelu. Z bezpłatnej komunikacji miejskiej korzystają już uczniowie w Wejherowie, Redzie i gminie Luzino.
