Bezdomni w Gdyni znajdą schronienie zimą
Noclegownie czekają na bezdomnych. W Gdyni pierwsi chętni już korzystają z ciepłego schronienia. Na zimę przygotowano tam w sumie 325 miejsc.
Po wsparcie krótkoterminowe bezdomni zgłaszają się do Punktu Interwencji Noclegowej przy ulicy Janka Wiśniewskiego 24. Oprócz skorzystania z noclegu w ciepłym pomieszczeniu mogą się wykopać i przebrać – każdy dostanie zmianę bielizny, odzież, w razie potrzeby także buty. Do tego ciepły posiłek. Do dyspozycji w Gdyni są jeszcze trzy schroniska. W Gdyni prowadzą także programy pomagające wychodzić z bezdomności – w ostatnich dwóch latach usamodzielniło się tam ponad sto osób. Póki co w okresie coraz niższych temperatur proszą w Gdyni i w całym regionie o sygnały o osobach zagrożonych wychłodzeniem. Dzwonić można do straży miejskich i gminnych lub pod alarmowy numer 112.
