W Karsinie rozbudują przedszkole by utworzyć w nim żłobek. Gmina pozyskała na ten cel 256 tys zł.
Pieniądze pochodzą z rządowego programu „Maluch +”. Wśród ponad stu wniosków, które otrzymają wsparcie, karsiński projekt zyskał wysokie 15 miejsce. Dzięki temu gmina pozyskała najwyższy stopień dofinansowania wynoszący ponad 60 procent. Całkowity koszt rozbudowy budynku szacowany jest na 600 tysięcy zł. Zgodnie z projektem, na parterze powstaną dwie nowe sale na potrzeby przedszkola, a na piętrze będzie żłobek na 24 miejsca.
Prace budowlane rozpoczną się wiosną i mają potrwać do września bieżącego roku. Uruchomienie żłobka planowane jest na styczeń 2018. Gmina Karsin zamierza pozyskać dotację na koszty jego prowadzenia.
