Będzie kapitalny remont Domu Studenckiego we Wrzeszczu
Politechnika Gdańska przymierza się do przebudowy i remontu kapitalnego Domu Studenckiego we Wrzeszczu. Powstanie tam przedszkole dla dzieci studentów, doktorantów i pracowników uczelni.
Po remoncie w akademiku przy ulicy Do Studzienki 34 będzie mogło zamieszkać 118 studentów. Obiekt ma być przystosowany do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych i przyjazny dla środowiska. Parter zostanie zaadaptowany na przedszkole z osobnym, oddzielonym od części studenckiej, wejściem. Placówka przeznaczona będzie dla czterech grup wiekowych. Do dyspozycji najmłodszych będzie także plac zabaw. Szacunkowy koszt inwestycji to 11 mln złotych, Politechnika zwróciła się do ministerstwa nauki o dotację celową.
Według planu akademik z przedszkolem ma być gotowy w czwartym kwartale przyszłego roku.
