Będą pieniądze na Bank Komórek i Tkanek w słupskim szpitalu
O przekazaniu na ten cel 900 tys. zł z budżetu województwa zdecydowali wczoraj radni pomorskiego sejmiku. Inwestycja jest potrzebna w utworzonym w szpitalu w Słupsku Oddziale Transplantologii Szpiku.
To drugi tego typu ośrodek na Pomorzu. Dotychczas jedyny mieścił się w w Gdańsku, a czas oczekiwania na przeszczepy wynosił od 3 do 6 miesięcy. Oddział w Słupsku utworzono latem tego roku, między innymi dzięki dofinansowaniu samorządu województwa pomorskiego. Jednak by można było tam wykonywać przeszczepy szpiku potrzebny jest Bank Komórek i Tkanek. Jak poinformował rzecznik prasowy Urzędu Marszałkowskiego w Gdańsku Michał Piotrowski – Zarząd Wojewódzkiego Szpitala Specjalistycznego w Słupsku dwukrotnie zwracał się o dofinansowanie inwestycji do Ministerstwa Zdrowia. Ponieważ apele te pozostały bez echa, wsparcie przekaże pomorski samorząd.
