Będą kwestować na rzecz ratowania grobów osób zasłużonych dla miasta
W Kościerzynie będą jutro kwestować na rzecz ratowania grobów osób zasłużonych dla miasta. Zbiórka odbędzie się po raz szósty. W tym roku datki mają być przeznaczone na renowację nagrobków Lubomira i Wandy Szopińskich oraz ich rodziców Aleksandra i Katarzyny.
To postacie, które w latach 40 i 50 ubiegłego wieku były w wyjątkowy sposób zaangażowane w tworzenie życia kulturalnego w mieście oraz promocję kaszubszczyzny – podkreśla dr Krzysztof Jażdżewski, członek Społecznego Komitetu organizującego kwestę.
W organizację kwesty na rzecz ratowania zabytkowych nagrobków w Kościerzynie włączają się m.in. Muzeum Ziemi Kościerskiej, Zrzeszenie Kaszubsko-Pomorskie, Kurkowe Bractwo Strzeleckie, Hufiec ZHP i wiele innych. Członkowie tych instytucji oraz samorządowcy będą kwestować na cmentarzu parafialnym w Kościerzynie przez całą środę.
