Archidiecezja Gdańska musi oddać prawie 7 milionów
Archidiecezja Gdańska musi oddać 6 milionów 700 tys. zł Skarbowi Państwa – zdecydował Sąd Apelacyjny w Gdańsku. To pieniądze, które sześć lat temu urząd skarbowy wypłacił kościelnemu wydawnictwu Stella Maris. Bój toczył się o odsetki, które w 2007 roku urząd skarbowy wypłacił kościelnej firmie razem ze zwrotem podatku VAT od transakcji z lat 1999 – 2002. Instytucjom kościelnym przysługiwało wtedy zwolnienie z podatku. Dwa lata po wypłaceniu odsetek na sumę 6 mln 700 tys. zł urząd dopatrzył się uchybień w podjętych decyzjach i uznał że wypłacono je bezprawnie. W lutym tego roku rację przyznał mu Sąd Okręgowy w Gdańsku, ale strona kościelna złożyła apelację od wyroku. Sąd Apelacyjny jednak wczoraj go podtrzymał. Wyrok jest prawomocny. Archidiecezja ma jeszcze prawo wnieść skargę kasacyjną do Sądu Najwyższego.
