Aquathlon w Rumi – będą utrudnienia w ruchu
Ponad 300 zawodników z całej Polski weźmie w najbliższą niedzielę udział w Mistrzostwach Polski w Aquathlonie w Rumi. Władze uprzedzają, że impreza spowoduje czasowe utrudnienia w ruchu.
– Zawody mają promować zdrowy styl życia, są także okazją do wyłuskania utalentowanego narybku – mówi prezes UKS, Piotr Neter.
Aquathlon to młodszy brat triathlonu, składa się z kombinacji biegania i pływania i zdobywa coraz więcej zwolenników. Rywalizacja będzie się odbywać na 5 dystansach – w pływaniu od 100 m do 800 m i w biegu od 500 m do 5 km. Konkurencja pływacka zostanie przeprowadzona na pływalni MOSiR w Rumi, natomiast trasy biegowe wytyczono w Parku Miejskim przy ulicy Starowiejskiej. Burmistrz Rumi, Michał Pasieczny zapewnia, że nie sparaliżuje to życia w mieście.
W Rumi zawody w Aquatronie już po raz szósty organizuje Uczniowski Klub Sportowy Tri-Team, zjadą na nie reprezentanci 40 klubów z 12 województw.
