ŻUKOWO: Uroczystości 25-lecia nadania praw miejskich
Posadzeniem drzewek poświęconych Łotwie i Świdnicy rozpoczną się w sobotę w Żukowie uroczystości z okazji 25-lecia nadania praw miejskich. Sadzenie drzewek poprzedzi uroczystą sesję która ma się rozpocząć w samo południe, podpisane zostaną na niej umowy o nawiązaniu współpracy pomiędzy gminą Żukowo, a Balvi i Świdnicą. Nie mniej ważnym punktem obrad będzie nadanie honorowego obywatelstwa: Lechowi Wałęsie, księdzu prałatowi Stanisławowi Gackowskiemu i lekarzowi medycyny Stanisławowi Dunajskiemu. – Po godzinie 13:30 występ naszego zespołu Rapsodia, potem poczęstunek i atrakcje dla dzieci przy gimnazjum a wieczorem koncert jubileuszowy – zaprasza dyrektor ośrodka kultury w Żukowie Wiesława Toczyńska. Uroczysta sesja z okazji 25-lecia nadania praw miejskich miastu Żukowo odbędzie się w sobotę 17-go maja o godzinie 12:00, radni i zaproszeni gości zbiorą się w hali widowiskowo – sportowej żukowskiego gimnazjum nr 2. Tam też odbędzie się reszta uroczystości związana z obchodami.
