Zakończyły się zawody Złoty Tur World Cup 2018
Zakończyły się czterodniowe zawody Pucharu Świata Zawodowców oraz Niepełnosprawnych w Armwrestlingu Złoty Tur World Cup 2018. Zawody po raz kolejny odbyły się w Rumi.
Na starcie stanęło 230 zawodników z 34 krajów, w tym 20-osobowa reprezentacja Polski, w rywalizacji niepełnosprawnych – 120 sportowców z 15 krajów. Złoty Tur Cup to najsilniej obsadzone zawody w siłowaniu się na rękę i najbardziej prestiżowy turniej na świecie. Polacy odnieśli spektakularne sukcesy. Marlena Wawrzyniak i Aleks Kurdecha wygrali swoje debiutanckie pojedynki w super zawodowym cyklu Vendetta All Stars, natomiast Dawid Bartosiewicz zdobył srebrny medal w zawodach Złoty Tur World Cup. Brązowe medale wywalczyli zaś Lucjan Fudała i Katarzyna Zaniewska. Wielkie sukcesy także na koncie naszych armwrestlerów niepełnosprawnych.
Turniej poświęcony był pamięci Andreya Pushkara, wielokrotnego mistrza świata, jednego z najlepszych zawodników w historii tej dyscypliny, który zginął w wypadku samochodowym na Ukrainie, jadąc na zawody do Rumi.
