Strażnicy Miejscy w Wejherowie od dzisiaj zwracają baczniejszą uwagę na okolice cmentarzy. Radzą też odwiedzających groby bliskich jak ustrzec się kradzieży zostawionych ozdób. Coroczne, wzmożone działania straży mają się przyczynić do poprawy bezpieczeństwa osób skupionych na dbaniu o miejsce spoczynku bliskich.
– Więcej patroli uruchamiamy od 26 października do 05 listopada – mówi komendant Zenon Hinca.
By zapobiec kradzieży kwiatów czy ozdobnych donic warto je oznakować – uniemożliwiając tym samym ich sprzedaż. Można też zadbać o znicze. Wejherowska Straż Miejska apeluje też, by podczas porządkowania grobów nie pozostawiać w widocznym miejscu cennych rzeczy. Ofiarami kradzieży mogą być zwłaszcza kobiety – np. pozostawiające torebkę na czas wyrzucenia śmieci.
