Przypominamy zapomniane tradycje związane z Męką Pańską
„Płaczta dzys je płaczeboga” – tymi słowami na Kaszubach w Wielki Piątek gospodarz budził domowników uderzając brzóskami po ich plecach. Dzisiaj przypominamy zapomniane tradycje kaszubskie związane z Męką Pańską. Do dzisiaj pobożni Kaszubi stosują ścisły post w Wielki Piątek, ograniczając nawet ilość posiłków. W Kościele Katolickim Wielki Piątek przypomina mękę i śmierć Chrystusa, który umarł i zmartwychwstał za grzechy ludzi. To dosłownie przypominano kiedyś w kaszubskich domach – mówi nauczyciel języka kaszubskiego z Głodnicy Witold Bobrowski. Zwyczaj nazywał się „Płaczeboga”. Zwyczaj – na szczęście dla dzieci – jest już zapomniany. Podobnie jak specyficzne sprzątanie w Chłapowie koło Władysławowa. To była lokalna tradycja – mówi muzealnik Roman Drzeżdżon. Dodajmy, że po świętach sąsiedzi zbierali owe śmieci i wspólnie wywozili z gospodarstw. W tradycji kaszubskiej w Wielki Piątek Kaszubi uczestniczą w nabożeństwach Drogi Krzyżowej i czuwaniu przy grobie Chrystusa w kościołach.
