W Kartuzach rozpoczęła się budowa hospicjum
W Kartuzach przy ulicy Leśnej rozpoczęła się budowa hospicjum. Prowadzona będzie etapami, w pierwszym powstaną piwnice.
– Prace musieliśmy rozpocząć w tym roku, bo taki termin jest w pozwoleniu na budowę – mówi ks. Łukasz Delewski z kartuskiego Caritasu.
O potrzebie budowy stacjonarnego hospicjum mówi się w Kartuzach od wielu lat. O jego utworzenie zabiega kartuski Caritas, który już zajmuje się terminalnie chorymi u nich w domach. W kwietniu społeczną inicjatywę w sprawie zbiórki funduszy zawiązały samorządy powiatu kartuskiego wspólnie z przedsiębiorcami. W hospicjum stacjonarnym w Kartuzach będą 32 miejsca dla chorych. Pomoc znajdą tu także ich rodziny.
