Grzegorz Szalewski pośmiertnie uhonorowany medalem „Za zasługi dla miasta Rumi”
Doktor Grzegorz Szalewski pośmiertnie uhonorowany medalem „Za zasługi dla miasta Rumi”. Odznaczenie przyznano na wniosek burmistrza Michała Pasiecznego podczas uroczystej Sesji Rady Miejskiej.
W hali Miejskiego Ośrodka Sportu i Rekreacji w Rumi zebrali się współpracownicy, przyjaciele i najbliższa rodzina doktora. Po uroczystej Sesji otwarto klinikę oraz odsłonięto pamiątkową tablicę w siedzibie rumskiego oddziału Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego. Grzegorz Szalewski był inicjatorem ich budowy. Był też jednym z pomysłodawców Światowego Zjazdu Kaszubów oraz fundatorem stypendiów dla najlepszych maturzystów z języka kaszubskiego.
