W Lęborku powstanie „Lęborski Węzeł Przesiadkowy”
W Lęborku kompletnie zmienią się okolice dworca. Powstanie tam „Lęborski Węzeł Przesiadkowy”. Jego zadaniem – podobnie jak w węzłach powstających w całym regionie – jest ułatwienie korzystania z transportu zbiorowego.
W Lęborku powstanie 9 peronów dla autobusów i busów, powstanie parking na 250 samochodów, przebudowane zostaną ulice: Dworcowa, Warszawska, Sienkiewicza, Bohaterów Monte Cassino i Grunwaldzka. Południową część miasta połączy z dworcem tunel dla pieszych. Drogową część przedsięwzięcia rozpoczęto od prac wodno – kanalizacyjnych na ulicy Sienkiewicza. Przebudowa okolic dworca ma się odbywać tak, by zminimalizować utrudnienia – to jednak musi potrwać.
Powstanie „Lęborskiego Węzła Przesiadkowego” wraz z zakupem autobusów dla ZKM ma kosztować 37,5 mln zł. Ponad połowę tej kwoty pokryje dofinansowanie pozyskane przez miejski samorząd.
