W Rumi rozpoczął się zapowiadany remont ulicy Abrahama
W Rumi rozpoczął się zapowiadany remont ulicy Abrahama – jednej z ważnych arterii dzielnicy Janowo. Od mostu nad Zagórską Strugą do ulicy Piłsudskiego trzeba wymienić nawierzchnię jezdni, chodniki i krawężniki.
– To konieczne, bo Abrahama w godzinach szczytu komunikacyjnego jest chętnie wykorzystywana jako objazd dla ulicy Dąbrowskiego – łączącej Hutniczą ze skrzyżowaniem na krajowej szóstce – wyjaśnia rumski radny i przewodniczący Komisji Bezpieczeństwa Krzysztof Woźniak.
Dla poprawy bezpieczeństwa zamontowane zostaną progi zwalniające, a skrzyżowanie z Morską zostanie wyniesione. Modernizacja ulicy Abrahama będzie kosztować blisko 650 tys zł, prace będą się wiązać z wyłączeniem z ruchu poszczególnych odcinków. Przy okazji zostanie wyremontowany most nad Zagórską Strugą. Wszystkie prace mają się zakończyć do listopada tego roku.
