Wyższe składki zdrowotne dla palaczy?
Nałogowi palacze powinni płacić wyższe składki zdrowotne. Dyskusję na ten temat wywołało w Polsce Porozumienie Pracodawców Ochrony Zdrowia. Wyższe składki miałyby pokryć część kosztów leczenia m.in. raka płuc. W Polsce do palenia przyznaje się 28% osób, którzy ukończyli 15 rok życia. Na leczenie chorób odtytoniowych rocznie polski rząd przeznacza nawet 18 mld złotych. Według amerykańskich badań leczenie palacza kosztuje średnio o 30% więcej niż osoby niepalącej. Dlatego – Porozumienie Pracodawców Ochrony Zdrowia proponuje podwyższenie składki zdrowotnej dla osób palących. O zdanie zapytaliśmy mieszkańców Kaszub. Zwolennicy pomysłu porównują podwyższenie składki do osób uprawiających ekstremalne sporty, którzy dodatkowo się ubezpieczają, bo są narażeni na większe ryzyko. Przeciwnicy przekonują jednak, że jeśli podwyższono by składkę palaczom, to trzeba by to również zrobić wobec osób jedzących niezdrową żywność i niećwiczących regularnie. Nad zmianami form składki zdrowotnej ma w najbliższym czasie pracować Ministerstwo Zdrowia.
