Żaglowiec Pogoria wraca po remoncie do macierzystego portu w Gdyni. Tylko na kilka dni, bo w sobotę wypływa na prestiżowy zlot żaglowców.
– Remont to rutynowa procedura – mówi prezes Sail Training Association Poland Kazimierz Iwaszko.
Pogoria to ponad 30 letnia, trójmasztowa barkentyna. Jest żaglowcem szkolnym stowarzyszenia zajmującego się m.in. edukacją żeglarską młodzieży. W gdyńskim porcie Pogoria spędzi kilka dni, by w sobotę wypłynąć przez Bornholm do norweskiego Stavanger. Tam spotka się z uczestnikami międzynarodowych regat The Tall Ship’s Races by wziąć udział w ostatnim etapie. W Holandii nastąpi wymiana załogi, a Pogoria popłynie na Morze Śródziemne. Portem docelowym jest Genua we Włoszech.
