Rewolucja w SKM Trójmiasto – pierwsze z modernizowanych pociągów trafiły już na tory
Rewolucja w SKM Trójmiasto. Pierwsze z 21 modernizowanych pociągów trafiły już na tory. Koszt całej operacji to prawie 124 mln złotych. W pociągach wymieniono niemal wszystko, poza kawałkami wózków i silników. W składach zamontowano nowy system napędowy i pulpit dla maszynisty, monitory i system audiowizualny informujący pasażerów, wyremontowano toalety. Pojawił się również monitoring i udogodnienia dla niepełnosprawnych. Zmodernizowane pociągi pojadą też z większa prędkością – nawet do 120 km/godz. Pierwsze zmodernizowane składy zaprezentowano w sobotę na trasie z Gdyni do Lęborka. To duży krok w przyszłość – mówi dyrektor marketingu i sprzedaży SKM Marcin Głuszek. Modernizacją pociągów zajmuje się bydgoski zakład PESA. Pozostałe składy mają trafić do Trójmiasta do końca października.
