Nowe skrzydło powstanie w szpitalu św. Wojciecha na Zaspie
W Szpitalu im. św. Wojciecha na gdańskiej Zaspie powstanie nowy blok operacyjny. Wczoraj wmurowano kamień węgielny pod rozbudowę lecznicy należącej do spółki Copernicus.
Lwią część kosztu pokryje unijne dofinansowanie i wsparcie samorządu województwa pomorskiego. Szpital św. Wojciecha jest trzecim w Gdańsku i trzecim co do wielkości w województwie. Rozbudowa jest konieczna, bo modernizacja bloku operacyjnego oznaczałaby konieczność wstrzymania przyjęć pacjentów na większość oddziałów. Rocznie jest tam operowanych 10 tys. osób. W szpitalu powstanie nowe skrzydło z blokiem operacyjnym. Trzy kondygnacje pomieszczą też dwa oddziały szpitalne: urazowo-ortopedyczny z salami zabiegowymi oraz urologiczny. Zostanie zakupiony sprzęt medyczny, powstanie też 75 bezpłatnych miejsc parkingowych. Inwestycja ma być gotowa za półtora roku, ma kosztować ponad 83 mln zł. Samorząd województwa przeznaczył na ten cel blisko 32 mln zł, kolejne 47 mln zł to dofinansowanie z bieżącego Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Pomorskiego. Spółka Copernicus wyłoży prawie 5 mln zł. Wcześniej w ramach modernizacji szpitala na Zaspie wyremontowano oddziały: kardiochirurgii dziecięcej, neonatologii i intensywnej terapii noworodka, okulistyczny, chirurgii ogólnej i częściowo interna.
