Dzień Dziecka i Dzień Rodzicielstwa Zastępczego w Kartuzach
Coraz większa ilość dzieci w pieczy zastępczej i brak rodziców – to największe problemy rodzicielstwa zastępczego. Dyskutowano o nich wczoraj w Kartuzach podczas Dnia Dziecka.
– Obecnie na terenie naszego powiatu działają 84 rodziny zastępcze, ale gdyby było ich więcej, bez problemu moglibyśmy umieścić u nich dzieci – mówi dyrektor kartuskiego PCPR Grzegorz Mikiciuk.
Problem braku rodzin zastępczych występuje w powiecie kartuskim od kilku lat. Potencjalnych rodziców odstraszają głównie zaostrzone kryteria – czas oczekiwania i biurokracja. Sami rodzice przyznają, że najtrudniej im trafić do dzieci skrzywdzonych przez los. Ich reakcje są nieprzewidywalne – mówi Renata Gruchała ze Stężycy. Dzień Dziecka i Dzień Rodzicielstwa Zastępczego był okazją do wspólnej integracji i promocji rodzicielstwa zastępczego.
