120 zarzutów przedstawiono notariuszom zatrzymanym w sprawie tzw. trójmiejskiej mafii mieszkaniowej. Wskutek ich działalności – jak poinformował na konferencji w Gdańsku minister sprawiedliwości – prokurator generalny Zbigniew Ziobro – ponad 400 osób straciło nieruchomości warte w sumie ponad 20 mln zł.
Pięciu notariuszy – czterech z Gdańska i jednego z Warszawy – zatrzymano w związku ze śledztwem prowadzonym od 2016. roku przez specjalną grupę powołaną przez Komendanta Wojewódzkiego Policji w Gdańsku. Dotyczyło ono wyłudzania mieszkań za udzielanie pożyczek. Oszuści wybierali osoby w trudnej sytuacji materialnej. Pożyczek udzielali pod zastaw nieruchomości. Jak się okazało ich wartość była zaniżana w aktach notarialnych, a dokumenty te odczytywano pobieżnie bądź wcale. Pięciu notariuszy to kolejni zatrzymani w tej sprawie. W ubiegłym roku w Trójmieście ujęto 15 osób – pożyczkodawców i pośredników. Według policji sprawa ma charakter rozwojowy.
