Diecezja Pelplińska przygotowuje się do kanonizacji Jana Pawła II
Diecezja Pelplińska w szczególny sposób przygotowuje się do kanonizacji papieża Jana Pawła II. Obchody połączone będą z 15 rocznicą pobytu Ojca Świętego w Pelplinie. W mieście powołano specjalny komitet organizacyjny, który przygotował cykl wydarzeń kulturalno – religijnych. Władze Kurii chcą do udziału zaprosić wszystkich mieszkańców Pomorza. W przeddzień kanonizacji – 26 kwietnia – odbędą się najważniejsze uroczystości – czuwanie modlitewne i przemarsz na Górę Jana Pawła II, gdzie 6 czerwca 1999 roku Ojciec Święty odprawił mszę świętą. Oprócz tego miasto zaprasza na cykl koncertów, wystaw i konferencji. Do tego cały Pelplin 27 kwietnia ma wyglądać szczególnie – mówi rzecznik Kurii ksiądz Ireneusz Smagliński. Dodajmy, że wyjazdy na uroczystości kanonizacji Jana Pawła II do Rzymu organizują parafie w diecezji pelplińskiej.
