Czy Kościerzyna dołączy do Systemu Roweru Metropolitalnego?
O to pytają mieszkańcy i radni miasta. To dla nas na razie zbyt drogie odpowiada burmistrz Michał Majewski. Zdaniem władz, Kościerzyna jest zbyt małą miejscowością, by organizować tu wypożyczalnie rowerów.
– Uważam, że Kościerzyna też powinna mieć taką możliwość – mówi kościerski radny, Krzysztof Barton.
Jednak podobne miejsca powstają właśnie w 14 gminach na Pomorzu, m.in. w Sierakowicach, Stężycy czy Kartuzach. Analizowaliśmy taką możliwość, ale oferty firm były zbyt drogie – odpowiada burmistrz Michał Majewski. Władze Kościerzyny rozważają uruchomienie jednej prywatnej wypożyczalni rowerów, która działałaby przy dworcu PKP i była przeznaczona dla turystów.
