Biblioteka w Rumi ma najwięcej czytelników w powiecie wejherowskim
Bardzo dobrze wypada też wśród placówek z całego województwa – wynika ze statystycznego zestawienia za ubiegły rok.
– Na sukces składa się wiele czynników – mówi dyrektor biblioteki Krystyna Laskowicz.
W Rumi czytelników wyraźnie przybyło po przeprowadzce biblioteki na dworzec PKP w 2014 roku. Stację Kultura i jej filie odwiedza 26 procent mieszkańców miasta – czyli więcej o 10 procent. W Stacji Kultura odbywają się warsztaty, koncerty, wystawy. Biblioteka jest także otwarta na nowe technologie. Biblioteka w Rumi świętuje w tym roku 70-lecie działalności. W maju w ramach Tygodnia Bibliotek Stacja Kultura organizuje m.in. spotkanie o pisarkach i poetkach Pomorza oraz grę miejską.
