Czekają na zgłoszenia do „Biegu Pamięci, Gniewino-Rybno 2018”
W Gniewinie czekają na zgłoszenia do „Biegu Pamięci, Gniewino- Rybno 2018”. Odbędzie się on w przyszły wtorek, 24 kwietnia. Wydarzenie ma upamiętnić 800 ofiar Marszu Śmierci, którzy spoczywają w nekropolii w Rybnie.
– W zawodach biorą udział głównie uczniowie naszych szkół, jednak każdy może się zgłosić – mówi Waldemar Szczypior, dyrektor Centrum Kultury w Gniewinie.
Bieg poświęcony jest również wszystkim więźniom, których hitlerowscy oprawcy na przełomie lutego i marca 1945 roku, w obawie przed wkraczającą Armią Czerwoną, ewakuowali z obozu koncentracyjnego Stutthof. Zbiórka i start biegu o godz. 10:30 pod pomnikiem poległych w Gniewinie. Na 12.00 zaplanowano zakończenie biegu i rozpoczęcie uroczystości patriotycznych na terenie cmentarza Ofiar Marszu Śmierci w Rybnie.
