Z myślą o ekologii i czystszym powietrzu – w Wejherowie wymieniają piece a miejskie autobusy mają jeździć na wodór. Zmiana metody grzewczej wiąże się z wydatkami, których wysokość może się zmieniać zależnie od sytuacji gospodarczej i cen.

Dlatego potrzeba zmian na szczeblu ogólnopolskim w tym zakresie – mówił dziś w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby Wojciech Kozłowski, wiceprzewodniczący Rady Miasta Wejherowa. Mimo braku stabilności prowadzone są jednak programy dofinansowania wymiany piecy z czterech źródeł. Ekologiczne rozwiązania wdraża również Miejski Zakład Komunikacji Wejherowo. Nowe autobusy spełniają normę Euro 6 dotyczącą oczyszczania spalin. Kolejnym krokiem jest podpisanie listu intencyjnego przez miejski samorząd i grupę LOTOS SA o współpracy dotyczącej dostarczenia paliw wodorowych. Jeżeli plan dojdzie do skutku, część taboru będzie jeździła zasilana bardziej ekologicznym paliwem wodorowym.
