Oficjalny status zyskało Gdyńskie Muzeum Motoryzacji
Gdyńskie Muzeum Motoryzacji zostało wpisane na listę Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Oznacza to że ma już oficjalny status muzeum i przywileje zarezerwowane dla takich placówek.
– Dzięki nowemu statusowi usprawnimy rejestrację pojazdu jako zabytkowego – mówi Witold Ciążkowski.
Mowa o kolekcji zabytkowych samochodów i motocykli zgromadzonej przez Witolda i Krzysztofa Ciążkowskich. Niedawno ich placówka obchodziła dziesiąte urodziny i z tej okazji przez trzy dni odwiedziło ją 7 tysięcy osób. W muzeum przy ulicy Żwirowej w Gdyni prezentowana jest tylko część kolekcji rodziny Ciążkowskich. Jest tam za mało miejsca by pomieścić wszystkie pojazdy. Pomoc w znalezieniu większego lokalu zadeklarował miejski samorząd – wyjaśniała Maja Wagner, pełnomocnik prezydenta Gdyni ds kultury. Gdyńskie Muzeum Motoryzacji od początku jest wspierane finansowo przez Miasto – głównie na programy edukacyjne w szkołach i przedszkolach. W tym roku otrzymało 240 tys zł.
