Projekt węzła integracyjnego Rumia Janowo gotowy
Miasto przedstawiło wizualizację inwestycji oszacowanej na 36 mln zł. Poprzedza ją remont stacji SKM, który ma być zakończony w maju.
– Trzeba też przy przystanku zapewnić odpowiednią liczbę miejsc parkingowych – mówi burmistrz Rumi Michał Pasieczny.
Podczas gdy Szybka Kolej Miejska modernizuje peron miejski samorząd przygotowywał projekt, który ma być komunikacyjną rewolucją dzięki połączeniu Janowa z krajową szóstką. Spójny system komunikacji ma zachęcić do przesiadania się z samochodu do autobusu czy na rower a potem do pociągu. Już sam tunel do krajowej szóstki pozwoli też na zmniejszenie korków w mieście. Na wykonanie węzła integracyjnego Rumia pozyskała 13 mln zł. Po wykonaniu projektu następnym krokiem jest ubieganie się o pozwolenie na budowę.
