W Muzeum Miasta Gdyni otwarto wystawę „Odezwała się ziemia”
W Muzeum Miasta Gdyni otwarto wystawę „Odezwała się ziemia” – pokłosie prac archeologicznych w Sztutowie. Są one prowadzone na terenie dawnego niemieckiego obozu koncentracyjnego Stutthof.
– Rzeczy, które po nich pozostały pomogą nam opowiedzieć ich historię – mówi rzecznik prasowy Muzeum Miasta Gdyni Michał Miegoń.
W latach 1939 –1941 przebywało tam 110 tysięcy więźniów. Ponad połowa z nich zginęła w wyniku katorżniczej pracy, niedożywienia, chorób i pobić. Wystawie towarzyszyć będą prelekcje i wykłady – związane z etyką prac poszukiwawczych i historią obozu. Najbliższy odbędzie się 12 kwietnia. Wystawa „Odezwała się ziemia” będzie otwarta w Muzeum Miasta Gdyni do 30 czerwca.
