Biblioteka Publiczna w Kartuzach będzie nieczynna – przez 3 miesiące
Przez 3 miesiące Miejska i Powiatowa Biblioteka Publiczna w Kartuzach będzie nieczynna. Decyzja ta związana jest z planowanym skontrum księgozbioru, czyli kontrolą i inwentaryzacją.
Po tym okresie zbiory będą przygotowane do przeprowadzki do nowej siedziby na dworcu PKP. Ma to nastąpić w połowie czerwca. Biblioteka informuje, że w związku z tą sytuacją, czytelnicy mogą wypożyczyć większą ilość książek, bo potem będzie to niemożliwe – mówi dyrektor Kazimiera Nowicka. Książki wypożyczać można jeszcze tylko dziś i jutro. W czerwcu księgozbiór zostanie przeniesiony do nowego dworca PKP. Podobne rozwiązanie zastosowano w Rumi i Sopocie. Dzięki temu zabiegowi znacząco wzrosła liczba czytelników.
