Śledztwo w sprawie szkoły w Kokoszkach wszczyna gdańska prokuratura. Zawiadomienie o przekroczeniu uprawnień w przetargu na operatora placówki złożyli członkowie PiS z posłem Andrzejem Jaworskim na czele. Przypomnę, że chodzi o szkołę którą ma prowadzić fundacja „Pozytywne Inicjatywy” z Pucka. Ma być to publiczna, bezpłatna szkoła dla sześciuset uczniów. Śledczy z gdańska sprawdzą czy prezydent Gdańska nie przekroczył swoich uprawnień – chodzi o zbadanie, czy doszło do nieprawidłowości przy ogłaszaniu i przeprowadzaniu konkursu na wybór operatora szkoły w Kokoszkach. Budynku za kilkadziesiąt milionów złotych nie można traktować tak jak innych lokali usługowych w mieście – powiedział Dziennikowi Bałtyckiemu poseł PiS Andrzej Jaworski, który nie godzi się także na to by nowowybudowana szkoła była oddawana jakiejkolwiek instytucji prywatnej, w momencie gdy jej prowadzenie to konstytucyjne zadanie gminy. Ze spokojem oczekujemy na decyzję prokuratury – odpowiada wicedyrektor Wydziału Edukacji Piotr Kowalczuk. Argumentuje, że władze miasta podejmują próby zwrócenia uwagi na jakość edukacji i wieloaspektowość zagadnień z nią związanych.
