Czy w Gdyni potrzeba nowych przystanków SKM?
Czy w Gdyni potrzeba dwóch nowych przystanków SKM? Odpowiedzi chce poszukać kolejowa spółka i miejski samorząd. Podpisano porozumienie w tej sprawie. Dotyczy ono wykonania studium, w którym mają być zbadane możliwości i celowość rozbudowy infrastruktury linii kolejowej nr 250 Gdańsk – Rumia w granicach Gdyni.
Chodzi głównie o budowę dwóch przystanków SKM: Gdynia Śródmieście i Gdynia Wielkopolska oraz połączenie linii kolejowych 250 i kościerskiej 201 w rejonie przystanku Gdynia Wzgórze Świętego Maksymiliana. Oceniona ma być m.in. lokalizacja nowych przystanków w kontekście dostosowania do układu dróg rowerowych, komunikacji miejskiej czy też miejsc parkingowych. Sprawdzone mają być też potrzeby i oczekiwania pasażerów SKM i mieszkańców Gdyni. Przetarg na wykonanie studium ogłosi trójmiejska SKM, a kosztami jego sporządzenia przewoźnik i Gdynia podzielą się po połowie. Inwestycje mają być ocenione pod względem zasadności ich realizacji w ramach perspektywy finansowej Unii Europejskiej 2021 – 2027.
