W Kościerzynie utworzą Dzienny Dom dla Seniorów
W Kościerzynie po raz drugi podejmą próbę utworzenia w mieście Dziennego Domu dla Seniorów. W ubiegłym roku z powodu ograniczonych środków inwestycji nie udało się zrealizować.
Samorząd ponownie otrzymał rządową dotację w wysokości 300 tysięcy złotych. Dom ma być ośrodkiem wsparcia dla 15. seniorów, nieaktywnych zawodowo i o niskich dochodach. Otrzymają pomoc rehabilitantów i psychologów oraz by wzmocnić swoją aktywność i kondycję. Burmistrz Michał Majewski liczy na korzystne rozstrzygnięcie przetargu w tej sprawie. Dom Seniora w Kościerzynie ma się mieścić w byłej siedzibie KTBS przy ulicy 8 marca. Konieczna jest adaptacja budynku do nowych zadań. Dom Seniora ma być też dostosowany do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. Przetarg na wykonanie inwestycji ma zostać ogłoszony wiosną tego roku.
