Powstaną miejsca do rekreacji w ramach rewitalizacji Gdyni
Polany w Babich Dołach, na Oksywiu i Witominie zostaną zamienione w miejsca do rekreacji. To m.in. część programu rewitalizacji sześciu obszarów Gdyni. Polany mają zachować naturalny, kameralny charakter, ale mają też być oświetlone i zyskać m.in. strefy piknikowe.
– Na potrzebę uporządkowania miejsc, które już służą do odpoczynku czy sąsiedzkiej integracji, wskazywali mieszkańcy rewitalizowanych dzielnic podczas konsultacji – mówi wiceprezydent Gdyni Michał Guć.
Polany zostaną też dostosowane do potrzeb mieszkańców danej dzielnicy. Na Witominie może m.in. powstać mini skate – park, na ulicy Rybaków rozkładana scena letnia, na Oksywiu – elementy nawiązujące do historii Osady Rybackiej. -Takie miejsca planujemy tworzyć we wszystkich dzielnicach Gdyni – dodaje wiceprezydent Guć. Miejski samorząd chce do marca wyłonić pracownię, która zaprojektuje polany w Babich Dołach, na Oksywiu i Witominie. Zagospodarowanie tych terenów planowane jest jeszcze w tym roku.
