Pielęgniarka, bankowiec i naukowiec – wyróżnieni w Gdyni
Gdynia świętuje urodziny miasta. To już 92. rocznica przyznania praw miejskich. Momentem kulminacyjnym obchodów – rozpisanych na trzy weekendy lutego – była wczorajsza sesja rady miasta.
Wręczono na niej medale im. Eugeniusza Kwiatkowskiego oraz nagrody „Czas Gdyni” dla najlepszych inwestycji ubiegłego roku. Medal „Za wybitne zasługi dla Gdyni” otrzymały: Maria Jolanta Obara – wieloletnia pielęgniarka społeczna gdyńskiego szpitala oraz Monika Płocke – dyrektor zarządzająca pionem informatycznym banku Nordea AB. Najwyższe odznaczenie Rady Miasta Gdyni przyznano też Tadeuszowi Palmowskiemu – profesorowi nauk o ziemi, badaczowi gospodarczych przemian Gdyni i doradcy miejskiego samorządu. Na uroczystej sesji wręczono też nagrody dla inwestorów i architektów „Czas Gdyni”. Za najlepszą inwestycję uznano siedzibę główną wraz z halą produkcyjno – magazynową firmy FLOWAIR na terenie rewitalizowanego Polifarbu. Natomiast w kategorii Architektura nagrodę przyznano za osiedle RIVUS zaprojektowane przez studio MS Architekt i zrealizowane przez Invest Komfort.
