Najlepsi z najlepszych nagrodzeni w Wejherowie na pierwszej w historii miasta Gali Sportu. Uroczysta feta w Filharmonii Kaszubskiej była zwieńczeniem starań środowisk sportowych o podkreślenie roli sportu w życiu miasta i jego mieszkańców.
– Wybór spośród 40 kandydatów nie był łatwy – mówi przewodniczący kapituły Jacek Gafka.
Wyróżnienia odebrali m.in. wieloletni działacz WKS Gryf Rafał Szlas, wielokrotny mistrz Polski w kickboxingu i trener kadry narodowej Rafał Karcz oraz ubiegłoroczna mistrzyni świata w karate tradycyjnym Małgorzata Zabrocka – podkreśla prezydent Wejherowa Krzysztof Hildebrandt. Dziś podziękowania i nagrody odbiorą natomiast najlepsi sportowcy z gminy Władysławowo. Pierwsze uroczyste podsumowanie roku sportowego odbędzie się o 18:00 we władysławowskim Zespole Szkół nr 1.
